Exploring Molecular Nutrition

Purina has always been at the forefront of research into molecular nutrition to better understand the role of nutrition in health and disease.

The study or tools used for this are collectively referred to as ‘omics’: genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and metagenomics. In the future, omics studies will help scientists design nutritional solutions with an individual pet’s genetic makeup in mind, to truly make health personal.
